Meet our Pastors

SENIOR PASTORS

John and Sheila White have been in the ministry since 1978 and were the founding pastors of DCF in 1983. Together they are carrying out God’s mandate for Decatur Christian Fellowship by Evangelizing the world, Educating the Body of Christ to God’s word, Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, Establishing the church in a lifestyle of faith, and imparting a spirit of Excellence to their congregation.

John is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and has served as the regional director of the three-state Gulf Coast Region of Rhema Ministerial Association International. John & Sheila have seen multitudes come to a saving knowledge of God’s grace and witnessed the healing power of God working in multitudes around the world.

ASSOCIATE/WORSHIP/NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL PASTORS

While Brooke has been employed at DCF for most of her working life, Ben began serving in full-time Student Ministry at The Link, in 2004. Together, their hearts are to empower the Body of Christ with a real, relevant, and relational presentation of the uncompromised Word of God.

Ben and Brooke are also Associate Pastors of Decatur Christian Fellowship. Ben also serves as Worship Pastor and Brooke as the Nursery and Preschool Coordinator.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH DIRECTOR/AUDIO AND VIDEO

Ragan and her husband Ryan have two children and have attended DCF since they were married here in 2001. She began serving in the children’s ministry in 2006. Her mission is to ready the hearts of children from a young age by sowing seeds of prayer, faith, study, and worship and equipping children with the tools they will need to become the next generation of leaders in their communities and churches.

Additionally, Ragan holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

YOUTH PASTORS

Jacob and Jill Geuss and their 3 children moved to Alabama in 2022 after being called back into ministry after experiencing more than 5 years in youth care. Specializing in mental health behaviors, including training, guiding, and encouraging parents to be successful in their own homes.

Jacob graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 2009, specializing in youth ministry. Jacob and Jill have over 10 years of youth ministry under their belt.

Together, their hearts are to be relational with the youth as Christ taught us through His example. Submitting to the word that gives us the everlasting tool to fight against the things of this world. Overcoming sin and temptation in all aspects of their life through freedom and victory in Christ Jesus.
